Lee Kum Kee was established in 1888 by its founder Lee Kum Sheung, the inventor of oyster sauce. With a history of over 130 years, Lee Kum Kee offers over 200 choices of sauces and condiments to over 100 countries and regions and has become a household name of Asian sauces and condiments.

With the mission of “Promoting Chinese Culinary Culture Worldwide”, Lee Kum Kee is dedicated to supporting aspiring young chefs throughout the world. In 2011, Lee Kum Kee pioneered the “Hope as Chef” program in China to nurture future generations of culinary talents. In 2019, the Lee Kum Kee Hope as Chef Charitable Foundation was officially established to support young chefs to receive professional Chinese culinary training. The program has now expanded to Malaysia and the United States.
