Enrico Monti Endowed Scholarship

ABOUT MONTI
The Maremma Secret Society was created by “Monti” many years ago. Members are a sociable group dedicated to the pursuit of friendship and to savoring the tastes of fine Italian food and wine. Members meet, as their spirit moves them, to celebrate health, happiness, and love – amore, always amore!

The “secret”? Monti’s message: “There are Italians and there are those who want to be Italian. The Italians want to be from Tuscany and he Toscani want to be from Maremma.”

When Monti passed away a few years ago, friends created several celebrations to honor him and to raise funds for this Scholarship to pay tribute to his love for life and his friends, Italian cuisine and his lifelong passion for helping others.
Monti wanted his “friends and the friends of friends” to continue to get together and celebrate with laughter, camaraderie and wonderful food and wine from Maremma – Tuscany where he was born.
