Robert J. Gildersleeve '90

On May 14, 2015, Bob Gildersleeve tragically lost his life in a train derailment north of Philadelphia. He was only 45 years old. Bob was a devoted husband and father, a champion of the CIA, and a respected leader within the Ecolab organization. He served as a true ambassador for our industry and an exemplar for our students. To honor his memory and love of the culinary arts, Ecolab, the CIA, and Bob’s friends and family have established The Robert J. Gildersleeve, Jr. ’90 Memorial Scholarship to support students in achieving their dreams of a CIA education.
