The Kenneth ’64 and Marina Barnett Memorial Scholarship

Kenneth Barnett, restaurateur and CIA alumnus, passed away on July 25, 2000. This scholarship was created in memory of he and his wife, Marina.

In 1972, Kenny opened Wildflowers Restaurant (his “joint” as he called it) during a period in Philadelphia called the Restaurant Renaissance. His wife, Marina, worked with him in the restaurant. Wildflowers was well known for its lavish salad bar, which won many awards.

Kenny was a member of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs and he and Marina hosted a Chaîne dinner in November of 1977
