Vienna Wong's "Game Changer Scholarship"

Vienna has always enjoyed food from the very beginning. Her mother still speaks of memory of toddler Vienna smiling and clapping when dinner was served. What followed are decades of Vienna seeking out good food at… mom-and-pop restaurants in Hong Kong growing up, Chinese take-out in high school, food trucks in college, and yes, some fine dining restaurants in more recent years too, and of course the Culinary Institute of America!

Vienna credits hard work, challenging the status quo in life and work and education, for her success. It is more fun even if it’s harder to take “The Road Less Traveled.”

As a result, she is excited about the opportunity to support future generations of leaders in food and hospitality, through “The Game Changer Scholarship”.

“The Game Changer Scholarship” is meant for someone who has had to overcome family and / or societal expectations to pursue her/his passion – a career in food and hospitality.
