Lee Kum Kee Ambassador Scholarship

Students meeting the following requirements are encouraged to apply:

  • Class Level: Second semester Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or Senior
  • Campus: Any Campus
  • Program: Any undergraduate program with Culinary Arts
  • Minimum GPA: 2.50
  • Financial Need: Have financial need as determined by the FAFSA
  • Additional Note: This scholarship has been created to provide scholarship for students who are passionate about Chinese cooking.

  1. For this scholarship, you must submit an original Asian-inspired recipe that incorporates some Asian elements, such as an ingredient, flavor profile, cooking technique, etc. You must use at least one Lee Kum Kee product. Please upload your recipe in .doc, .docx, or .pdf format. We strongly suggest that you review the "Tips for Writing a Recipe" found under the $hef Scholarships tab on the Student Financial Services portal page before submitting your recipe.   2. In an essay of between 250 and 300 words, please explain the inspiration for your recipe and the story behind it.
